Join our industry panel as we delve into the world of producing. Creativity is fluid, many artists enjoy and work in different creative mediums throughout their career. Our panel of actors, who have stepped into the world of producing, give some insight and advice for those who want to do the same.

Leah Alice Butterworth is the company manager at Funicular Productions, an immersive theatre company in east London, and Dead Rabbits Theatre Company. She started her path studying Physical Theatre at St Marys in London where she could grow within performance and movement. She also experimented and enhanced her passion in tech, management, costume and more which finally led to producing. Putting on her own theatre, telling her own stories and creating her own spaces has become very important to her. Combining her creativity with her drive and passion for management has become a place where she feels confident and really flourishes. She believes it is super important to have as many strings as possible to your bow and see the whole picture and appreciate every single aspect of theatre.
Germma Orleans-Thompson is a director and theatre-maker based in London. She has created work for performance at the Almeida Theatre, Battersea Arts Centre, and Rose Theatre Kingston. Her company Sculptress Theatre has a focus on making work with Black women, their latest show being a one-woman show called I AM [NOT] KANYE WEST at the Bunker Theatre in March 2020.
Michaela Hunte is a Young Creative and trustee on the board of Creative Youth, based in London. A part- time model with acting, dance, vocal and physical theatre training, she has been in love with the arts since childhood and continues to create art through many forms. Michaela is now moving into the realm of coaching, psychotherapy, and counselling, with the aim to bring her knowledge and tools from gained from the arts to support healing and create positive change while doing so.
Andy Hudeková is a south west based actor, VA and illustrator. She’s trained in screen acting, theatre, movement and voice and since graduating has joined Creative Youth and worked on expanding her arts portfolio. She’s equally passionate about performing and visual arts, as well as inclusivity and diversity in the creative industries.
