A brutally honest, poetic testimonial about what it’s like living with mental health issues. Using spoken word poetry, home video footage and a hip-hop inspired soundtrack, the show discusses all aspects of depression from suicide, and panic attacks to how it affects every relationship you have. Full Pelt Theatre a graduate company formed in 2016. Since then we have gone onto tour three shows successfully around various fringe festivals (Brighton Fringe, Plymouth Fringe, Ventnor Fringe & Pulse Festival).
A one-month run in Edinburgh of our comedy about two babies still inside the womb entitled “Wombmates: Is There Life After Birth.” Two shows accepted for runs at Vault Festival (Wombmates & Sisterson Foods). And our Debut Show “The Going Away days”, which tackles toxic masculinity, toured which culminated with a sold-out run at The New Diorama.
Due to Covid-19 this year’s festival has been created as an online experience. We hope you enjoy the festival and are inspired by the talented artists who are adapting to these challenging times.
